The Dental Clinic provides these general dentistry and specialty care services:
- Endodontics
- Prosthodontics

- Oral Surgery
- Orthodontics
The dental clinic also sponsors Graduate Dental Education through a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry, or AEGD-1, residency program for eight residents (recent dental school graduates). For more information on the program and the application/selection process, please visit the Uniformed Services University's Postgraduate Dental College website.
There may be occasional requirements for unique, hard-to-find cases to meet the needs of the residency program. These requirements may be fulfilled using non-active duty patients. These cases are limited, and advertised only if no active duty patients can be found to fulfill them.
How to Make an Appointment
Active duty service members will be contacted to schedule periodic dental exam appointments. Follow-on appointments are made at the time of the periodic dental exam appointment or by calling the Dental Clinic.
Important Information
Eligible patients with dental emergencies, such as acute severe pain, bleeding, significant swelling, or trauma can call the Dental Clinic for a screening appointment or report to the emergency department during non-duty hours.
Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics
For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families, and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
