The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

What is Patient & Family Partnership Council?

The PFPC is a council comprised of patient advisors who work in collaboration with our facility and capture the voices and insights of patients and families to improve the care experience by elevating to leadership any current or chronic issues to make positive changes.

What is a Patient advisor?

  • Advisors are asked to give feedback about their experiences as a patient or family member and help plan changes to improve how we deliver care for our patients.
  • Represent the interests of all patients cared for by the military treatment facility.
  • Provide feedback on clinic policies, staff and clinician practices, programs, or facilities.

What skills do advisors need?

  • Listen and share their opinions respectfully.
  • Think about ways to improve healthcare delivery.
  • Work well with others.
