Optometry

This is an active duty service member only clinic.

TRICARE Prime beneficiaries are eligible for optometry care by civilian TRICARE participating optometrists without a referral. Please refer to the TRICARE website for updated information for coverages and possible co-pays, or call 1-800-444-5445. Diabetic Patients are authorized to receive one routine diabetic eye exam a year.

Services Offered 

Optometry provides comprehensive eye care examinations and visual and ocular evaluations as part of operational specific exams and flying class physicals, and additional ancillary testing as driven by exam findings. As contact lenses and contact lens-related services are not TRICARE-covered benefits, non-mission related contact lens fittings are not provided at the Optometry Clinic. However, if a service member currently wears contact lenses, they can wear them to their scheduled exam for evaluation; bring a current contact lens prescription, and contact lens prescriptions can be updated.

Emergent same-day appointments for ocular trauma and red eye will be scheduled at the provider's discretion.
